Cookies & Tracking

TreeMark uses only essential first-party cookies to keep you signed in. No advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies of any kind are set, and we don't use any third-party trackers.

Sign-in Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email, and profile picture so we can credit your contributions. Your account info is stored encrypted at rest. Your profile picture is shown on your profile but is loaded directly from Google; we do not store it on our servers.

Data Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your profile data with anyone.

Tree Locations & Photos

Tree locations and photos you mark as public are visible to the community; private ones remain visible only to you. We don't recommend uploading pictures of yourself with the plant. All photos are stored encrypted at rest and served over HTTPS only.

Security Logging

We log basic security events (sign-ins, edits, deletions) only to keep the platform safe and accountable.

Account Deletion

You can request full deletion of your account and data anytime by sending a Query to us.
